In addition to a renewed aesthetic, PIT2 is designed to contain important safety innovations that make it practically ‘inclonable’.<\/div>
On the one hand, a new signature control system between key and reader ensures that any replicas of existing key profiles are never accepted by the systems. On the other hand, a new automatic key lock mechanism has been implemented in the event of an attempted forcing of the PIN.<\/div>

PIT2 is fully compatible<\/strong> with all key readers of the CAIMAN<\/strong> families (including the cash&cashless systems Eagle\/Four Plus and Premium), OPTO<\/strong> and OSCAR<\/strong>.<\/div>
PIT2 keys are immediately ready for use <\/strong>in current key readers. To achieve full implementation of the new enhanced security measures, a firmware update<\/strong> will be released for the systems. To ensure the compatibility of GIODY validators<\/strong> with the new PIT2 keys, an adjustment may be required to be carried out at Paytec. Renewed colors, unchanged prices<\/strong><\/div>[vc_empty_space]
The prices of the keys will not undergo any change with respect to what is indicated on Paytec’s Price List in force from 1 March 2022.<\/div>
The minimum order quantity remains 100 pieces per color, or 20 pieces per color if you place the order on Paytec’s e-shop<\/a><\/strong> (thus also taking advantage of the additional 5% discount!)<\/div>[vc_empty_space]
The PIT2 keys come in a wide variety of eye-catching colors: red, blue, yellow, green, black, transparent <\/strong>and transparent orange<\/strong>.<\/div>
Just like the previous ones, they are available as Type 1, Type 98 and Auto-programmable. To simplify the management of your payment systems and get the most out of your locations<\/strong><\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”6\/12″][vc_empty_space height=”16px”]

If you have not already done so, register in the Reserved Area<\/strong> of Paytec’s website to have immediate access to the most recent management software and firmware versions of the systems.<\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”16px”]
2.<\/strong><\/div>
Take a census of your Paytec key systems. Identify obsolete readers (Giotto, Leonardo, Jedy\u2026) to be used exclusively with PIT1 keys or possibly to be scrapped.<\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”16px”]
3.<\/strong><\/div>
If you still have PIT1 keys in stock, we suggest you keep them for the existing locations and use the PIT2 directly for new locations.
